The Shy Albatross is a wanderer of the open ocean, effortlessly gliding over the waves on its long, graceful wings. Unlike the familiar backyard birds, these majestic seabirds spend most of their lives far from land, only returning to isolated islands to breed. Seen soaring just above the water’s surface, they use the wind to travel vast distances with barely a flap of their wings. Spotting one out at sea would be an unforgettable reminder of the wild beauty of the open-ocean birds.
